Patient Comments

  • Review for Dr. Eck

A great independent practice with a wonderful staff. Dr. Eck has incredible bedside manner and is focused on his patients and their individualized needs. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to the Boise area and needed a new primary care doctor. After reading many reviews I decided to try Dr. Eck and I am so happy I did! He is a patient and knowledgeable doctor. His chair side manners and approach are great. I'm happy to have found my new primary care doctor!

Dr Eck enters the exam room sits down and begins a conversation with you that does 2 things. It puts me at ease as if I were catching up with an old friend and provides him with information to help focus in on any health issues. He has never once glanced at his watch, looked at his cell phone, or made me feel as though he would not spend as much time with me as I want. Excellent communicator and highly recommended.

  • Review for Colleen Shackelford

I feel Colleen genuinely cares about me. I never feel judged by her, and always appreciate her thoroughness and tendency to explore further tests before coming to a conclusion. She is always willing to discuss options. I appreciate her concern and genuine concern for me and my care.

Colleen is incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate! I can’t emphasize enough how much she makes me feel taken care of. I’ve always dreaded doctor appointments in the past, but having her as my doctor now puts me at ease. I’m immensely thankful for her!

Colleen is excellent. She never rushes my appointments and is thorough in her examinations and explanations. She is willing to go above and beyond to help my family get the care needed. She was took extra care and effort to assist my daughter in getting the specialists she needed. Without her persistence, my daughter would have waited over 9 months to see a specialist at Seattle Children's Hospital. Due to Colleen's persistence we were seen in a matter of two weeks.

  • Review for Terryn Martin

Terryn is a great doctor! She was very sweet and caring. She took the time to get to know me and what I was dealing with. I will definitely be seeing her again.

Terryn is very patient and kind. She is attentive and listens to what the patient is saying.

  • Review for Ryan Vance

Ryan is great! He is personable and worked very hard to find a solution to me living a healthier life.
Ryan has been a real asset in helping me with my type II Diabetes. He is a good listener and always provides valuable information and feedback.

Ryan is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and listens well. He had some great suggestions to improve my diet and nutrition without being "preachy". My appointments with Ryan were a good way to follow up on the discussions I had with my primary physician during my annual physical.
