Dr. Paul Clark was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but moved to Portland, Oregon, as a young child. He was inspired to pursue a medical career by his father, a dentist, and his grandfather, a urogynecological surgeon. Intrigued by the transformative process of surgical medicine and compelled to work with esteemed dentists, Dr. Clark found his calling in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Clark joined Whitewater Oral Surgery Group in 2020. The high level of care and concern he provides to his patients, along with his dedication to the field, is a hallmark of the specialists at Whitewater Oral Surgery Group. By placing the needs of his patients first, Dr. Clark is able to achieve outstanding results.
After he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from Portland State University, Dr. Clark completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Oregon Health & Science University. He continued his education at the University of California San Francisco, and earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree there. He then completed his general surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at UCSF.
Dr. Clark is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has been since 2018.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Clark loves to spend time with his wife and their four children. He is also an outdoorsman and enjoys backpacking, skiing, dirt biking, and coaching his children’s baseball teams. He is also a Scoutmaster for his sons’ Boy Scout troop.
