Rebecca Osterkamp, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Osterkamp joined the Digestive Health Clinic in 2020. After undergraduate education at Bucknell University, she served three years in the Peace Corps in Mali. She returned to her home state of Connecticut where she attended medical school at the University of Connecticut followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University. She moved to Seattle to complete her Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington, where she served as chief fellow. She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease. She is passionate about caring for her patients as individuals and promoting health equity. She is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

Dr. Osterkamp moved to Boise with her husband, an Idaho native. She enjoys running, hiking, rollerblading, playing tennis and gardening.
