Travis Williams, DO

Physician Biography

Dr. Williams joined Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2019. He graduated from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in 2015, completed an Internship at the University of North Dakota in 2016, and then went on to complete residency at Indiana University in 2019. He is eligible for board certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Dr. Williams chose to specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation after seeing the benefits of personalized care and improvement of function for family members with neurological impairments, and chronic pain. Dr. Williams knows that a patient is much more than his or her symptoms, and enjoys finding the correct treatment for each patient, from exercise, therapy and manual medicine, to medications, and injections. He also enjoys using various tools like Electromyography and nerve conduction studies to aide in the diagnosis.

As an Idaho native and Centennial High School graduate, he is excited to return to the area to provide care for patients of his home community. His favorite color is blue, followed closely by orange. He enjoys spending time with his family, and can always be found cheering on the Broncos during the football season. He served a two-year mission for his church in Texas where he learned Spanish. His other hobbies include fishing, soccer, and golf.
