Matt Perdue, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Perdue received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed general psychiatry training at the University of Southern California. He then completed fellowship training in addiction psychiatry at Baylor College Medicine and is board certified in both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Most recently, he held a faculty appointment with the department of psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern where he was actively involved in teaching medical students and served as medical director of a residential addiction treatment facility focusing on treatment for individuals with psychiatric and co-occurring substance use disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
