Physician Biography

Dr. Teri Cottingham, MD is a board certified and fellowship trained dermatologic surgeon.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, she completed her undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and attended medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. From there, she completed an Internal Medicine internship at University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Her Dermatology residency was at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Lastly, she completed a fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. During this fellowship, she learned and perfected her Mohs Micrographic surgical technique as well as being involved in cutting edge research on lasers and other dermatologic surgical procedures.

She and her husband moved to Boise in 1998. They have 3 wonderful children.
