Brea Shrum, MD

Physician Biography

Dr Shrum is a board certified OBGYN.  Her career is driven by a deep commitment to personalized, compassionate and evidence based medicine- empowering women through every stage of life. Patients are drawn not only to her medical expertise but also to her ability to make them feel truly seen, heard, and cared for.

With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Shrum has developed expertise in both routine and high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgery, including minimally invasive procedures.

A proud Boise native, Dr. Shrum earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Portland and attended Creighton University for medical school before returning home to serve the community she loves. Outside of medicine, Dr. Shrum enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, the Idaho wilderness and spending time with her friends and family.
