Byron Knowles, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Knowles has provided pediatric care in the Treasure Valley for 12 years and is very excited to join Thrive Pediatrics. He grew up in rural Idaho, completed his undergraduate work at Boise State, and made it a priority to return home to Idaho after medical school and residency to build his practice and serve his local community. As the son of school teachers, Dr. Knowles is passionate about working with patient families and about the importance of education and thorough communication in each of his patient visits. He loves getting to know people and feels strongly that a setting filled with kindness, listening, and information enables everyone to flourish.

Dr. Knowles and his wife have three children and love to spend time as a family outside skiing, biking, hunting, fishing, golfing, and exploring our beautiful state. He also loves music, good food, laughing, and having fun.
