Gene K. Hodges, MD

Physician Biography

Gene K. Hodges was born in 1950 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His primary schooling was completed there, and he graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 1969. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming in 1973 and went on to graduate from University of Utah Medical School in 1977. His internship and residency were also completed at the University of Utah. Dr. Hodges has been in private practice in Idaho Falls, Idaho, since 1985. He has served on many advisory boards, including Chairman of Dept of Family Practice at EIRMC, president of the medical staff at EIRMC, and chairman of the Dept of Family Practice at EIRMC. He is currently serving on EIRMC'S Board of Directors. He is also a board member of the Idaho Physicians Association, and has served on the Malpractice Advisory Board for The Doctors Company. He and his wife, Mary, were married in 1975 and they have four children, two boys and two girls, and 8 grandchildren. He enjoys competitive shooting, and was the Idaho State chairman for USA wrestling for sixteen years.
