During his tenure at Duke, he was promoted to an Associate Professor as he developed multiple cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and facial procedures. Dr.Leyngold published over 80 original research papers, reviews, commentaries, and book chapters on the topic and had the opportunity to share his passion for surgery with many talented medical students, surgical residents, and fellows, all of whom enriched his academic career significantly.
