Physician Biography

Dr. JD Williams is a Colorado native who completed medical school and anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado, followed by fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the University of Utah and the renowned Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Board-certified in Interventional Pain Medicine, Dr. Williams is known for bringing advanced spine therapies to Idaho, including being the first physician in the Boise area to offer treatments such as ViaDisc and ReActiv8.

Known as the “doc who trains docs,” he teaches advanced interventional spine techniques to physicians nationwide and serves as faculty for the Pacific Spine & Pain Society.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys travel, discovering a great whisky with friends and family, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
