Jeffrey Hessing, MD

Physician Biography

Jeffrey Hessing is a Boise native, graduating from Boise High School. He obtained his BS degree in Microbiology in 1976 from Brigham Young University, graduating summa cum laude. He was a WAMI student at University of Washington School of Medicine graduating in 1980. He completed a rotating internship at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1981 and an Orthopaedic residency at Southern Illinois University in 1985. He then returned to Boise to open a general orthopaedic practice at Orthopaedic Associates. Since 2004 he has only treated shoulder problems in his practice. He is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons fellow.
