GARDEN VALLEY FAMILY MEDICINE PC is an independent medical practice located in Garden Valley, Idaho. We are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to our patients. Our practice is dedicated to promoting wellness and improving the overall health of individuals and families in the community.

This is a full-time on-site position with a rotating schedule that allows for a week off every third week!

As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care to our patients. Your day-to-day tasks may include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and educating patients about their health conditions. Garden Valley Family Medicine is the only medical office in Boise County. You will treat patients of all ages from acute medical emergencies to chronic illnesses.

Qualifications

  • Strong medical knowledge and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Current certification or pending certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • New grads encouraged to apply

Position: Medical Assistant or LPN

Location: Capital Surgical Associates in Boise

One of our very busy general surgeons is looking for a dynamic new addition to their team. We are in need of a Medical Assistant or LPN with a surgical background that can provide excellent patient care!

The ideal candidate will be able to or have the following characteristics:

  • Perform general MA duties such as minor in-office procedures, triage, vitals, give injections, sterilize instruments
  • Have a good understanding of Idaho insurances
  • Prior Authorization experience
  • Order imaging/pre-op labs
  • Heavy surgery scheduling at all local hospitals-experience with managing block times and patient follow up is key
  • Manage day to day clinic flow
  • Clear communication with both provider and patients (you will be this provider's "right hand man")
  • Setting clear expectations for patients on surgical outcomes and addressing their concerns in an urgent manner
  • Utilize multiple systems including records databases and EHR (EClinical Works, Epic & IHDE)
  • Document thoroughly and accurately both via computer and on paper
  • Assist with anything the provider needs to ensure his schedule is maintained
  • Request, submit, review and prep records all within HIPAA regulations
  • E-Clinical Works experience is a plus
  • Workers comp experience would be hugely helpful

This person will work very closely with provider to assist them on managing their practice. So if you are not flexible when things pop up unexpectedly this is not the job for you. You will need to be able to handle a lot of responsibility and be heavily relied on to ensure that things run smoothly.
