Julie Foote, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Julie Foote is an Endocrinologist practicing independently in Boise, Idaho since 1994. She has an active, busy clinical practice with her nurse practitioner Tiffany Heidt. She enjoys all aspects of Endocrinology practice with special interests in diabetes, thyroid disease, and Endocrinology care in pregnancy. In addition to the practice of Endocrinology, Dr. Foote has been actively engaged in medical community activities. She is past treasurer of the Idaho Medical Association, a former member of the Health Quality Planning Commission, a founding member of the Idaho Health Data Exchange, and a current member of the Saint Alphonsus Alliance board. Dr. Foote is currently the medical director of inpatient and outpatient diabetes programs at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. She enjoys reaching out to serve many patients with diabetes through her activities as medical director. She lives in Boise with her husband Larry, daughter Anna, and her Weimaraner puppy. Her son, Larry Jr., is in college in Boston.
