Kurt Mildenstein, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Kurt Mildenstein joined Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2016. He graduated from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012. Internship & residency were completed at Loma Linda University in Southern California in 2016. He is eligible for board certification through the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Dr. Mildenstein chose to specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation because he enjoys restoring dignity and function to those who have been acutely or chronically impaired. He has a special interest in the neurologic and musculoskeletal systems of the body, as well as finding the best way to restore and support these systems after an injury. This includes exercise, therapy, injections, and medications used in a whole person care approach. His passions in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation also include electromyography and nerve conduction studies to help guide the diagnosis of neurologic injuries.

His hobbies include spending time with his family, reading, hiking, and snowboarding. He is also actively involved with his church and spend two years as a missionary in Ukraine where he learned to speak Russian.
