Leigh Hess, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Leigh Hess was raised in the Pacific Northwest where she earned a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Hess then graduated from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine as a physician in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Hess completed her medical residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and has relocated to Boise, Idaho to serve the women of the Treasure Valley as a physician with OGA. Dr. Hess is especially interested in contraception, operative gynecology, and obstetrics in her practice. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their young son, hiking, and cooking.
