MaryAlice Lopez, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. López is a born-and-raised Idahoan, originally from Twin Falls. After she graduated high school, she studied in Arizona, Spain, Idaho, Washington, and California. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, California. It was there that Dr. López came to deeply appreciate the importance of comprehensive women’s health within society. Dr. López believes deeply that as a physician, she has a responsibility to educate her patients and empower them to make the healthcare decisions that suit their priorities and values best. Dr. López speaks Spanish fluently and hopes this helps set her Spanish-speaking patients at ease. In her spare time, Dr. López enjoys hiking with her shelter pup, Lucy, being outside, trail running, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
