Michael Keiley, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Keiley was born and raised in Helena, Montana. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and his MD from the University of Washington in 1987. After completing a three-year residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Keiley completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver, Colorado. He is board certified in allergy and immunolgy by the the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He recertified in 2011. He joined BVAAC in 2000, after working as an allergist in Great Falls, Montana for nine years. Dr. Keiley is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the AMA; the Idaho Medical Association and the Ada County Medical Association. He is on staff at St. Luke’s RMC and St. Alphonsus RMC. Dr. Keiley's areas of special interest include severe asthma (all ages), severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), allergic rhinitis, and food allergy, including peanut allergy. Dr. Keiley lives in Boise with his wife Jackie. They have three children as well as three dogs, 2 guinea pigs, and a chinchilla. He enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is also an avid runner, mountain biker, tennis player, and hiker.
