Robert Ennis, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Robert Ennis was born in Memphis, TN. He received a BA in Political Science from Rhodes College and earned his M.D. from the University of Tennessee Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Following residency, he moved to Lebanon, NH to complete a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. He is an active member of The Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Ennis and his wife Ashley have 2 children- Wheaton and Emeri. The exceptional quality of life and abundance of outdoor activities attracted Dr. Ennis and his family to Boise following fellowship. He enjoys many outdoor activities and has a particular interest in snowboarding, mountain biking, river rafting, and golf.
