Shalimar Burwell, MD

Physician Biography

Shalimar Burwell, MD, grew up in Boise and completed her undergraduate studies at The College of Idaho. Before pursuing medicine, she worked as a research scientist, an experience that strengthened her commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care. She attended Saba University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Full Circle Health’s Nampa Program.

As a board‑certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Burwell is excited to care for patients in the community where she was raised. She provides full‑spectrum family medicine, with clinical interests in preventive care, prenatal care and non‑surgical obstetrics, endoscopy, and global health. She is committed to partnering with patients, supporting their goals, and caring for families across generations. She looks forward to building long‑term relationships with patients and families.
