Physician Biography

Dr. Montgomery believes great care begins with listening and understanding each patient. He combines advanced training with years of experience to deliver thoughtful, personalized care—so you feel confident and comfortable in your treatment. Dr. Montgomery’s background is unique, before pursuing medicine, he worked as a licensed auto mechanic in Canada, which helped him develop a hands-on understanding of how mechanical systems should fit, move, and work together. This experience has carried over into his orthopedic practice, where he takes a detailed, problem-solving approach to hip and knee replacement. Dr. Montgomery is board-certified in both Canada and the USA and has specialized fellowship training in complex hip and knee reconstruction from the University of Toronto and in medical device innovation from Stanford University.
