Physician Biography

Dr. Keller loves being a physician and all the many fields of medicine. During medical school he frequently wanted to change his specialization. No matter the rotation, pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, etc., he always enjoyed it so much that he wanted to make it his specialty.

Fortunately, everything changed when he found dermatology. From the first day of his dermatology rotation, he knew that caring for his patient’s skin was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. “I trusted my feelings, and I knew how dermatology made me feel. It is exactly how I felt when I asked my wife to marry me. Dermatology has provided me the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with a specialty that I know I love.”

He is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon, but Dr. Keller understands the body from the inside out. He began his journey in health care as a massage therapist, having learned the intricacies of whole-body treatments through touch and muscle relaxation.He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology (Laboratory Medicine) from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Keller attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where he graduated with honors as a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.). His residency training began in Athens, OH with an osteopathic traditional rotating internship followed by another year in Family Medicine at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital. He completed his dermatology residency through Midwestern University training through Kingman Regional Medical Center and three dermatology clinics in Kingman & Bullhead City and Lake Havasu, Nevada.

Dr. Keller enjoys promoting healthy skin.He is a Fellow Member of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Mohs Surgery.He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the skin and performs Mohs micrographic surgery for the precise removal of skin cancer.

When Dr Keller is not in the office he and his wife are busy raising their four children, two dogs, and three cats. The Keller family loves the Treasure Valley with all its outdoor activities and hometown feel, but large enough to have great culture, entertainment and restaurants. For the past nine years Dr Keller has performed in the Idaho Regional Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker the second weekend of December.
