Wade Muncey, MD

Dr. Wade Muncey is a board certified, fellowship-trained urologist with expertise in sexual medicine, male fertility, and men’s health. He was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He attended college locally, earning a degree in biology and chemistry from Whitworth University. He then went on to earn a medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. His surgical training included a year of general surgery and four years of urologic surgery at Case Western Reserve University. This was followed by a year of sub-specialty training in sexual dysfunction and microsurgery at Stanford University in the field of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Muncey specializes in penile implant surgery, treatment for male infertility, sperm retrieval, and vasectomy reversal. He is the highest penile implant implanter in the Pacific Northwest and the second highest implanter on the West Coast. He is dedicated to providing men access to the latest technologies for conditions such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, BPH, and low testosterone.

In 2025, Dr. Muncey was honored with the national Coloplast Center of Excellence Award in recognition of his advanced surgical expertise and commitment to innovation in prosthetic urology. This distinction is awarded to a select group of urologists nationwide who meet high procedural, academic, and professional standards in the field of men’s health.

Dr. Muncey is married with two young children. When not working, they enjoy hiking, listening to live music, and skiing.

Dr. Muncey is a member of the American Urological Association, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Idaho Medical Association.

Dr. Muncey has medical privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Centers in Boise and Nampa and at West Valley Medical Center.
