Wesley Flint, MD

Physician Biography

Dr. Flint is a native of the Mountain West where he grew up with a passion for family, faith and the outdoors.

Early on he enjoyed studying anatomy and physiology and knew that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine. He continued this journey by completing his baccalaureate work in neuroscience at Brigham Young University. He then spent a year at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland where he participated in biomedical research. Dr. Flint completed his medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine and later his residency in orthopedic surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. During his residency, Dr. Flint developed a great interest in the mechanics of the foot and ankle and later completed a fellowship with Dr. Michael Coughlin at the Idaho Foot and Ankle Fellowship, here in Boise.

Dr. Flint is uniquely trained to manage simple to severe foot and ankle conditions as he is a medical doctor, an orthopedic surgeon and a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon from one of the most respected orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons in the world.

Dr. Flint, his wife Kelley and four children love our community. When not in the office they can frequently be found recreating at Bogus Basin, enjoying the water at Lucky Peak or riding bicycles on the Greenbelt.
